Operational Method and Lock System Vehicle positioning occurs via drive-on access - operators position rubber blocks (when needed) beneath factory lift points, then activate lifting via button control on the power unit. The unique self-actuating lock bar with multiple lock positions engages automatically as the platform rises, creating mechanical load security at various working heights. Height adjustment downward uses the dump valve lever on the power unit, which lowers the platform incrementally to the next mechanical lock position.

Low-Profile Design Considerations The low-profile platform configuration accommodates vehicles with minimal ground clearance, though the horizontal cylinder arrangement requires 2-6 inches of clearance between the lifting surface and vehicle lift points during operation. The rubber pads on the lifting surface protect vehicle contact areas while providing grip during elevation.

Forklift & Lift Gate Information

Unloading Requirements

Our larger equipment — including single-post, 2-post, and 4-post lifts — must be unloaded using a forklift or equivalent equipment.
Smaller items such as tire changers, wheel balancers, and similar tools can be delivered with lift-gate service at no extra cost, which safely lowers the shipment to ground level.

⚠️ Hand unloading is not permitted due to carrier safety policies. Drivers are not allowed to wait during manual unloading.

If You Don’t Have a Forklift

No problem — we can help you arrange a smooth delivery.

  • Freight-terminal pickup: We can ship to a local freight terminal (usually within 30–60 minutes of your address).

  • Alternate delivery location: We can deliver to a friend, workplace, or business with a forklift.

  • Warehouse pickup: Pick up directly from one of our partner warehouses (available on many products).

  • Forklift rental: As a last option, you may rent a forklift locally — deliveries are scheduled in advance so rentals are short-term.
