Maximum Clearance for Oversized Tires The TC289 features the biggest turntable and most clearance in the Atlas tire changer line, designed to handle the largest diameter tires. This expanded capacity makes it ideal for servicing large SUVs and one-ton trucks requiring oversized tire changes.

Integrated Beadblaster System Incorporates a built-in "Beadblaster" system that assists inflation of stiff sidewall or other "hard to inflate" tires by forcing air volume into the bead seat area, overcoming resistance that prevents standard inflation methods from properly seating tire beads.

Wheel-Safe Design and Adjustable Bead Breaking Atlas wheel clamp tire changers protect both high-value alloy wheels and steel rims during tire service. The TC289 includes a powerful ADJUSTABLE bead breaker located on the machine side, engineered to separate even the most stubborn and rusted beads without rim damage. The adjustability enables operators to calibrate bead breaking force based on tire condition.

Variable Clamping Range Turntable jaws (which accept plastic covers for additional protection) secure wheels without surface damage. These jaws move to three different positions along the turntable slide, creating variable clamping ranges that accommodate the widest variety of tire and wheel combinations.

Forklift & Lift Gate Information

Unloading Requirements

Our larger equipment — including single-post, 2-post, and 4-post lifts — must be unloaded using a forklift or equivalent equipment.
Smaller items such as tire changers, wheel balancers, and similar tools can be delivered with lift-gate service at no extra cost, which safely lowers the shipment to ground level.

⚠️ Hand unloading is not permitted due to carrier safety policies. Drivers are not allowed to wait during manual unloading.

If You Don’t Have a Forklift

No problem — we can help you arrange a smooth delivery.

  • Freight-terminal pickup: We can ship to a local freight terminal (usually within 30–60 minutes of your address).

  • Alternate delivery location: We can deliver to a friend, workplace, or business with a forklift.

  • Warehouse pickup: Pick up directly from one of our partner warehouses (available on many products).

  • Forklift rental: As a last option, you may rent a forklift locally — deliveries are scheduled in advance so rentals are short-term.
